Business Technology Education is a group of planned, specialized instructional programs structured to prepare students to enter, advance, and refine prescribed competencies necessary to transition into postsecondary education and the workforce in the business and IT career clusters.
Business Technology now includes many high-tech programs such as networking, web design, digital design, and computer programming as well as, the traditional business programs of accounting, business supervision and management, and administrative support.
The use of computers with sophisticated software plays an integral part in carrying out the tasks in today's business world.
The business technology education programs at school sites and area technical centers provide state-of-the-art instruction to meet the demands of industry. |
